County Kilkenny VEC run a variety of evening classes in locations around the County. Courses range from short hobby and leisure subjects to longer work orientated programmes which can lead to certification. Evening classes provide the opportunity to learn a new skill or brush up on an existing one in a friendly relaxed environment.

Alliance Francaise

Grennan College
One year full-time FETAC Level 5 Certificate course in Horticulture. The course is a partnership with Kilkenny Co Council and Woodstock Gardens in Inistioge. Part of each week is spent in the classroom on theory, research and design with emphasis on traditional gardening methods used in heritage gardens. Remaining time is spent in Woodstock Gardens where practical subjects will be taught.
Castlecomer College of Further Education
FETAC Level 5 in Business with Computers. One year course. Evening classes in Basic ECDL and ECDL AutoCAD. Classes start in September.
Gaelscoil Osraí
Irish language classes provided for adult beginners, improvers and advanced. Courses start in autumn subject to demand. Ring mid September for information.
Italian Classes
