Lavistown House
Lavistown brings people together to learn and to have fun doing it. The weekend courses run from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. Day courses last from 10am to 5pm and are usually on Saturday. They cater for about 15 people and are always informal and enjoyable. The price of each course covers your accommodation, food and tuition. Courses that ran in 2010 were Winter Botany, Bread Making, Natural Dyeing, Keeping Chickens, Nature Photography, Cooking for College, Foraging, Mushrooms & Toadstools, Basket Making and Festive Natural Decorations.
