 The Grant – Seniors Alert Scheme
You need to get this through a registered community group in your area. The grant will cover the following items:
 Monitored Personal Alarm (Basic TeleCare)                €250
Monitored Smoke Detector (per unit)                      €75
Monitored Carbon Monoxide Detector (per unit)        €100
Additional Pendant/Reinstallation                             €50
External Security Lights                                          €120
Internal Emergency Lighting                                    €50

Seniors Alert Scheme for Older People

·         Description:

The Scheme is open to people who are aged 65 and over who have a genuine need for assistance. Funding is available towards the cost of installing monitored personal alert systems, monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, external security lighting and internal emergency lighting.
