Community Education

This service facilitates and supports community based learning in locations throughout the city and county.  Its aim is to encourage adults to return to learning in their own local communities.  Subjects include personal development, art, sign language, crafts, computer skills and are organised in association with a wide variety of groups/organisations.  Classes generally run for 6 to 10 weeks. A minimum of 10 participants is required to begin a class.

The Kilkenny Job Club is a free training programme for anyone looking for a job. The programmes run every month of the year with a course lasting for four weeks from 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
