Kilkenny Water Safety
Kilkenny Water Safety teaches and promotes water safety skills in Kilkenny City and County. They offer lessons in swimming, life-saving and they train lifeguards for the pool and beach. During winter months sessions take place on Monday nights in The Watershed Swimming Pool, 8pm to 11pm. During summer months sessions in life support, life saving and swimming are held on the river in Thomastown and Graiguenamanagh for one week. One week courses also held in The Watershed Swimming Pool.  The annual Nore swim is open to those who wish to swim. Monies raised go to Kilkenny Water Safety and local charities.
